Book #3. Slightly more interesting than the last one, but some of the same problems still remain. Very little character development, and no characters yet that I really love. The story stays very black and white – the Good People are good, the Bad people are bad, and there’s no in between. We saw a bit more of the world in this one, but not much more. The truth: The series is okay, but nothing great, and I debate whether or not to keep reading. The only reason for this is Brandon Sanderson’s authorship at the end. I do want to read the books he wrote, and I’ve had several people (who love this series) say that the middle of it kinda falls apart, and Sanderson saves it. I don’t know if that’s true, but part of me wonders if I should just read Wiki summaries of the next books and start in again with the first one Sanderson wrote. That seems like cheating, though…
