Yesterday, WordPress once again removed my ability to use the classic editor, forcing me back this awful gutenberg shit. I’ve been finding workarounds for this for eight years now. No one likes this formatting. There are a million versions of plug-ins allowing you to override it to use the classic editor, which is a million times better. But WordPress now only allows you to use those plug-ins if you pay them a monthly subscription fee, which I’m not going to do for a non-monetized platform where I write for myself and the maybe two people who actually read these posts. The last time WP did this, someone online had found a workaround within a week or two. Hopefully that will happen again. If so, I’ll continue posting. If not, this will be the last post that drops.
