Well. I’m glad this month is over.

General Life Stuff
April was insane. Basically full-on the entire month, from meetings with lawyers to a 9-hour zoom call for divorce mediation to a five-day road trip to drop off Gavroche with a friend of mine in Wisconsin. Three of my cats found new homes – Gavroche, as mentioned, and both Angus and Nimi were accepted by the shelter I used to foster through, and were adopted together after only a few days. Angus is devoted to Nimi, and they will both be more comfortable with a friend, so I’m soooooo happy they got adopted together. I bawled my eyes out leaving them behind. At least with Gavroche, I know where he’s at and I got to see him settle in. I also (finally) got a job interview this month, though sadly that doesn’t seem to have yielded any results. But it’s a step, I guess? Between that, doctor’s visits, legal stuff, cat stuff, and pest control issues, I’ve been through weeks and weeks of nonstop stress. And that’s not likely to let up any time soon, tbh.

Goals
Literally I don’t know why I made goals this year.

Writing
More progress on my current Bang fic but otherwise, this month was too busy for much on the writing front.

Exciting stuff
This comes down to two things: First, my divorce will be finalized around June 1st. That means May will be busy as I get everything I need to get done to transition to the next stages of my life, but it also means that after over a year of waiting and waiting and waiting, it’ll finally be over. Second, there has been so much Good Omens news in the last month. There was a teaser trailer, with the date of the real trailer to be dropped the next day, and then of course the actual trailer – which is incredible. It’s everything I could have hoped for and it got my brain moving again to work more on my Bang fic. And Prime has been dropping multiple images and videos since then. I think we might get a drop daily until the show is out in less than two weeks! The Good Omens official store finally opened too on the last day of the month – it was supposed to be up last fall but was delayed for a looong time and is currently in beta, but it’s here!
