I liked the story of this book, though there were elements of the plot that seemed off or odd. The setting was very well done. It was a lot simpler in writing than I was expecting – more like middle grade than young adult – so that threw me a little. It made for a fun afternoon reading, and I did learn some good things about writing and technique from it, which is a plus. I don’t have much else to say about it.
